It's a good day for human rights and marriage equality. By a six-vote margin, Argentina has become the first South American country to legalize same-sex marriage. Meanwhile, here at home in the Disctrict of Columbia, the DC Court of Appeals has upheld that city's Human Rights Act and denied an effort to place a repeal measure on that city's next ballot after same-sex marriage became legal this past March.
