Bringing the blog up to date with recent leather contest information, I want to extend a belated congratulations to Samuel Sampson and Kevin "Pup Sparkie" Purdue, holders of the new 2009 titles, Mr Central Plains Leather Sir and Leather Boy. Both hail from the St. Louis area. The titles were awarded January 30th in Wichita. They will go on to compete at the International Leather Sir and Leather Boy competition in San Francisco, which will be held October 29 through November 1, 2009. The Central Plains region consists of Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma.
At the same contest, Michael "Boy Blu" McNeese of Wichita won the Community Bootblack competition.
Congratulations to all the new title-holders!
